The calm and sunny day brought plenty of helpers out and all the remaining Gorse in the lower McRobies area was cleared by morning tea time. Over the years we have had some very good turnouts, with attendances of 15 and 16, but this days tally of 17 was a record and if it wasn’t for the fact that one late arrival couldn’t find us it would have been 18.
After a long morning tea in the sun most of the group to the upper McRobies site for follow up weeding, whilst two of the Bushcrew cut down small willow trees in the creek.
Total of volunteer labour as per Australian Government valuation $2,790
